More Strength. Less Cement.
Building materials and methods haven’t changed all that much in the last 100 years –
We engineer cementitious materials for digital fabrication — combining 3D printing, computational mix formulation, and physics-driven design to create lighter, stronger, and more sustainable structures.
Our printable cement composites are performance-defined for each application, reducing cement use by up to 25% while delivering unmatched design flexibility. Our portfolio of 3D-printable cement formulations can produce high-performance structural engineered cementitious composites, biocompatible reef structures; acid-resistant geopolymer for bio-digesters, heat-resistant refractory cements, or sound-absorbing engineered composites for highway noise absorption.
From materials to models to manufacturing — we control the full stack.
These high-performance cements reduce lifetime maintenance costs and can also reduce project timelines for additional savings.
We combine our parametrically-defined materials with generative design tools to create a dynamic system for continual advancement. When integrating our parametric materials with generative design for a fully-integrated soution we generate an additional 10- 25% weight savings for a whopping 50% total system weight reduction.
Finally; systems design is supported through multifunctional modular design that allows structures to provide several complementary functions; from a different perspective functional components are used to provide structure. Examples of multifunctional structure surround us in almost every living structure from wood and bone to shells and feathers.
Modularity accelerates production capability using a larger number of smaller printing systems to leverage power law in cost and size. A small farm of printers (10 1-meter printers compared to a 10-meter printer) allows a much faster response to design changes or producing an entirely different product mix on each machine.

3D concrete is a complicated and relatively new technology. Interested in the perspective from someone not just printing the mixes but making those mixes from the ground up? How about someone who has designed printing system elements, control systems, and signal conditioning to make all of those parts work together?
Nick not only sees potential where others might not, but he knows how to take complex ideas (we’re talking really complex ideas), that have the potential to make a significant impact (big-time impact), and make them a reality.
